The Story Behind Highland Stables

Originally designed as a fully functioning horse stables, the venue was built in 2000 as an equine boarding and training facility, and sits on a 168 acre family farm. It was built with love by Charles Mosley as a gift to his wife Betty to celebrate her life-long love of horses.

Wanting to honor a legacy of love, Angie Mosley officially opened Highland Stables as a full-time wedding venue in Bowling Green, KY in September 2014. For over a decade, Angie and her team have worked with heart and purpose to create a one-of-a-kind Southern wedding venue—a place where couples celebrate life-long love surrounded by family, charm, and timeless beauty.

Today, Highland Stables continues to welcome couples from Kentucky, Tennessee, and beyond—offering an unforgettable event space for weddings, receptions, and special celebrations.
